Hello fellow card makers.

My favorite of the release has got to be the new Insta Love Die Set. It cuts an instant photo from with pierced holes along the outside. I just love it.

I have two projects to share with you today. The first uses the new Hobby Chicks stamp set and coordinating dies. This is probably my second favorite of the release and I have a ton of ideas of how to use it. Today I made a bit of a thank you card for a coach. The photo I uses was from last year when my husband coached our youngest sons soccer team. I thought it made the perfect thank you card.

I started with a piece of Bristol smooth white cardstock. I used my ink blending tools and some Distress ink to blend the sky and grass background. When I completed the ink blending, I cut it out using the largest of the Stitched Rectangles Die Set by Your Next Stamp. The background was popped up with craft foam adhered to the back with 1/2 inch scor tape.

I cut out the large Insta love die from the new Insta love die set twice out of Neenah 110lb Solar White cardstock. I adhered both layers together to create a bit of dimension. I wanted the photo to sit inset like an instant photo does. I adhered both the frame and the photo to a piece of copy paper to create one unit. This made it easier to adhere to my background with tape runner adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment with Scrapbook.com white pigment ink and white heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp detail white embossing powder. I then cut it out using the smallest die from the new Washi Tape Sentiment strips. I adhered the sentiment also with tape runner adhesive.

To finish off the card I embellished the bottom with a copic colored image from the Hobby Chicks stamp set. This little bird is kicking the soccer ball along the bottom of my card. Both the chick and the soccer ball are popped up with Scotch 3M foam tape. The lines that represent the motion of the soccer ball are Gelly Roll Black Glaze pen.

My second project for today uses the brand new Ooh La La stamp set and Ripped Rectangles Die set. We just came back for our family vacation at Walt Disney World were we saw large amounts of Macarons. So I was inspired to create these bright pink and green macarons.

I stamped my images in Versafine Onyx Black ink on Canson XL watercolor paper. I heat embossed the images with Stampin' Up! Clear embossing powder. I colored my images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

The background was cut with the largest of the Ripped Rectangles die set. It was also cut from Canson XL watercolor paper. I then masked of the background and did some ink blending using both Pumice stone distress ink and tumbled glass distress ink. I popped up the background with Scotch 3M foam tape.

The sentiment was also stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear heat embossed. The images were popped up with foam tape and a little Spectrum Noir sparkle pen was used on the bow and icing.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. Make sure you follow along the hop and leave comments to increase your chance to win a $25 gift certificate of your choice.

My card today features the new Peek A Boo stamp set and Insta Love Die set. I created a collection of photographs taken by the super fun characters in the Peek a Boo stamp set. I started by cutting out both sizes of Insta photo dies in the set. I cut the larger out three times and the smaller out six times. This will create one large photo with three layers and two small photos with three layers. I took the negative or middle piece that gets cut out where the photo would be and stamped my images with Your Next Stamp Black Olive ink, which is a Copic-friendly ink. Using some masking paper, I stamped them in a variety of ways to create some fun "selfie" type photos. Once they were all stamped I colored them with Copic markers.

Once my photos were completed, I used a liquid adhesive to adhere my layers together to create the instant camera photo frame around the images. I then adhered the photo frames to my Simon Says Stamp Fog card base with liquid adhesive. I had to pop up the larger photo frame so that it can appear stacked on top of the smaller photos. Please see the video, link provided below, for more explanation.

The sentiment was also stamped in Your Next Stamp Black Olive ink. To finish off the card, I used some Your Next Stamp Milk and Cookies Matte Gumdrops scattered on my project.

Photos of my project, a Copic color map of the markers I used to color my images, a link to my YouTube video creating this card, and links to the supplies used to make it are all listed below.

Your Next Stamp Challenge #72 Card Video

Hello fellow card makers.

Today I am sharing with you a card I made for Your Next Stamp's Challenge #72. Here is a look at the sketch and color combo for this weeks challenge. To play along with us, visit the Your Next Stamp Blog (CLICK HERE!)

I started with a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor cardstock. I brushed wet Gansi Tambi water color to a dry piece of paper. I used the color combo for the challenge as my inspiration behind the colors that I chose. Once it was dry, I used the Your Next Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die set (second to largest) to cut out my front panel. I stamped my sub sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink. The front panel was adhered to a piece of black craft foam with 1/2 inch scor tape then adhered to a top folding A2 size card base cut from Taylored Expressions Poppy Seed cardstock.

I used the same cardstock as my card base to cut out my sentiment die cut. Thanks form Your Next Stamps Scripty word die set was cut and layered together four times. I used Stick it adhesive to help me do that. Please see the YouTube video for more explanation.
