I have two projects for you today. Make sure you scroll all the way down through all of the content to see all the wonderful photos and badges I am sharing with you today. You can easily Pin photos that you want to save for later by hovering over them. A small pin it symbol should be in the upper left corner of the photo. If it isn't there, there are buttons to click at the bottom of this post to share it and/or Pin it if desired.

I am playing with my two favorite stamp sets from the release. My first project uses the new Unicorns Rock stamp set and coordinating dies. I had a lot of fun creating this card and you can watch me make it over on my YouTube channel. The video is linked below for your convenience. I have also provided a Copic Marker Color Map and a complete list of supplies.

As for my second project today. I created a much simpler card. I took a piece of Ranger watercolor paper and my Avery Elle liquid watercolors and painted a "watermelon like" background using only two colors. I used Cherry and Celery to create all of the variations of color that you see in the background. One color of the Avery Elle liquid watercolors can give many variations of color depending on how much water you use to dilute the pigment. It is one of the great things about watercolors. You can use water and one single shade to dilute the pigment to create many variations of that one single color. I also cut the smallest heart I have in my stash, this heart is from Neat & Tangles "little bits" die set. I cut it 15 times from Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock to create the look of seeds. I turned the hearts upside down. I saw this look on a card by Karin Akesdotter (CLICK HERE!) to visit her blog. She is a very talented card maker that I have been inspired by for this card.

I cut the watercolored background down with the second from largest Your Next Stamp Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to a piece of white craft foam with double sided adhesive. I wanted to desperately use the new One in a Melon stamp set to add images with my background. I stamped the little critter with Your Next Stamp Black Olive ink and colored it using my Copic Markers. I have created this Copic Marker color map for you to Pin if you feel inspired by my card to use similar colors.

The little critter is sitting on a watermelon slice that was created using the new Watermelon Slice die set. I used the die to cut out the watermelon from Papertrey Inks Hibiscus Burst, Limeaide Ice, and New Lear cardstocks. The back or the seeds of the watermelon was cut from Simon Says Stamp Slate cardstock. I adhered everything together using Ranger Multi Medium Matte liquid adhesive. I popped up both the watermelon and the critter with Scotch 3M foam tape.

The sentiment is stamped on Simon Says Stamp Slate cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed using Hero Arts Ultra Fine White embossing powder. I cut it down into a strip using Heffy Doodles Strips of ease die set. and popped up with Scotch 3M foam tape.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. Make sure you hop along with us and comment along the way. (CLICK HERE!) to visit the new products page over at the Your Next Stamp online store to check out the new release. Use the coupon code posted at the top of this blog post.
