Neat & Tangled August Release: Day Three

Hello everyone. It is day three of Neat & Tangled’s August Release week. I hope you have been inspired to create some fun projects using the awesome products being released this month. Today I am using the NEW Grateful Heart Stamp Set to create a simple "thank you" card that is also quite stunning.

To check out the entire Neat & Tangled August Release (CLICK HERE!) to visit the online shop.

Don’t forget there is a giveaway today and on all four days of the Neat & Tangled August Release week, so make sure you are commenting on all of the design team member blogs so that it will increase your chances of winning.

As for my card, I started with a piece of Bristol  Smooth White Cardstock cut to 4 3/4 by 3 1/2. I grabbed my Ranger  ink Blending Tools and some Distress Oxide ink. I used Cracked Pistachio  and Evergreen Bough to blend the background of this card.

After I blended the background with those two ink colors, I loaded it into my Original MISTI and arranged not only the flowers from  the NEW Grateful Heart stamp set by Neat & Tangled but also the “thank you “ sentiment.

I treated my cardstock with an EK Success Powder Tool and inked up my stamps with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Powder.  Before doing this, make sure your background is completely dry, otherwise you will have embossing powder stick everywhere that you don’t want it to. After closing the door on my MISTI I made sure to give it even pressure to ensure a good stamped image.

After making sure the images were all stamped well enough, I used Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder to heat emboss the images onto the cardstock. I used my Wagner Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder.

I popped up this panel with gray craft foam and tear tape adhesive. I attached it to a Simon Says Stamp Fog card base cut and scored to an A2 size top folding card.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. To find out more inspiration using this months release (CLICK HERE!) to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog and see what the rest of the design team has been up to using this release.

Also don’t forget to comment in order to be entered to win a giveaway. Good Luck!

Thank you for visiting my blog today,

Koren
