The Feature Day objective for us was to be inspired by a famous artist or painting to create a project. I have always been attracted to Graffiti art. In my opinion Graffiti art isn't a crime, the real crime is to not see the beauty and talent behind it. Don't get me wrong, destruction of property is a crime, but artists such as Lee Quinones, when given the proper outlet, can really display true talent and inspiration. So, I used him and the New York City Subway art movement as my inspiration for todays card.
I used the One in a Chameleon Stamp set to create my card. I tried to make it appear as though he was camouflaged into the brick wall. I also used the Mud Splatter stamp set to create my colorful background with a rainbow of ink colors. I made sure to mask his eyes and shadow his body to make sure the life of the image still existed.
